You know State of agile report? If not, I recommend giving it a try. It is a worldwide survey of the adoption of agility. It contains information about what the company is implementing from agility, why it is being implemented, what good it brings but also where it gets stuck.
You will learn, for example the most common obstacles to adopting an agile approach:
- Inconsistencies in processes and procedures
- The organization's general resistance to change
- Lack of skills and experience
Or is it companies most often introduce stand-ups and retrospectives. Why? Look at the report. 😉
It's short, with lots of pictures and little text, so it's a really good read. And if you don't speak English, it can be translated by an automatic translator. Any other reason not to check it out? 🙂
PS: Thanks to corona, there is also a section for cooperation. Interesting numbers:
- Only 3% respondents say they plan to return to the office full-time
- 25 % respondents said they will remain fully remote in a post-COVID world
- 56 % respondents prefer a hybrid approach
