ATTENTION AND FOCUS
A few tips in general:
I'm in active mode (I go online when I want to), I'm not in reactive mode (notifications to pay attention to something) - I'm not a fireman
Check and reply routine - I use all social networks, emails and communicators as much as possible in the browser (www.messenger.com and web.whatsapp.com) and I go there from time to time in reserved blocks.
The chocolate rule - I also enjoy and amuse the online one. I approach it like chocolate - either I have it available and can stand it, don't hang around there all the time (discipline and will), or I make access to it impossible (various blockages and obstacles) and at the same time I accept that sometimes I'm just there.
I have the ringer off, I only turn it on when I'm waiting for a call, otherwise I call back. This keeps my attention on the current activity.
I have turned off all notifications and the number of notifications for application icons, except for sms and calls. This keeps my attention on the current activity.
I use Gmail's email snooze. This slows down non-urgent communication
I use the Unread folder instead of All in mobile Gmail. In the field, I only see new emails that may be urgent.
I don't have social network app icons on my mobile home screen. Just so they don't distract me, I'm also curious if anyone is writing.
