I often think to myself that there is nothing behind me, nothing tangible. Then when someone asks me what I did last week, I don't even know what to answer. Then it's quite easy to lose motivation and feel like I haven't really done anything. That my activities are not moving forward.
What with this?
I use something called accomplishments journal – of what happened. I write a list so that I don't have to hunt in my head what I did that week and whether I just messed it up. This is a modification of the gratitude journal. In retrospect, it helps me a lot and serves as a reference. It shows what I have been dealing with or where I have been in the past work-wise / content-wise.
Why on the blog?
I tried to write it in the Google calendar, on paper and so on, but the orientation was always a punishment. Finding the diary backwards was hell! So I'm trying a blog - so that I can get to it anywhere, I can show it to people and talk about it, so that I can show how it can look to others - because sometimes I recommend the same thing to us, what we do with computers and we don't have the results to look at they can be touched or they can be shown. By the way, there are also hashtags "what I'm working on" or show what you're doing on social networks. so I'm not the only one who had a similar idea! 🙂
So this week I got a lot of things done:
- first posts on Instagram (and also probably the last 🙂 )
- the video course is edited
- all have topics in webinar form
- the blog is alive again - it has undergone a redesign and is filling up!
- new tools (email tracker and brain fm)
