WITH ChatGPT <\/strong>and AI the bag was torn. Several times a week I deal with how someone implements AI, wants it or at least talks about it. Maybe on Google Keynote<\/a> in May, the word AI was used approx. 140 times in two hours. You can listen to how it sounded here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the first publicly available AI models appeared last fall, it was quite a shock. But AI in some form has been with us for a long time. It is used, for example, in your Google services (try searching for the word dog on Google Drive, it will also find dogs in pictures) or Apple devices (automatic generation of videos and collages). But ChatGPT brought a revolution. You can find an interesting interview with Sam Altman from OpenAI (maker of ChatGPT) about how they see it here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What about Google? It also has an AI model. His name is Bard, he is here<\/a> and is also available in Czech from 13.7. 2023. Until then, it was banned in the EU due to data protection and was only available via VPN. Great name for me!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The state of AI awareness among users<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Many people are interested in AI tools, ask about them and often have distorted ideas. Distorted ideas, for example, that it is a technology that will be available in a few years. It is not so. To prove it, I implemented a chatbot based on ChatGPT 3.5 Turbo technology on my blog. It took me about 30 minutes. That I'm on my own and it's not possible in a corporation? You will say it in Spo\u0159ka. The same chatbot has been implemented since March 2023. And other companies are joining. For example Slovak Savings Bank<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the real fun will come with the arrival of Copilot from Microsoft. You just get a new feature in Office one day. When? This of course depends on your license. But it will be sometime in the next year or so. Certainly not in a few years. Suddenly, rank-and-file employees will have access to all options. Are they ready for it?
