Thanks LovelyData.cz

Project management has its principles and its phases. But it is also a lot about people and the environment in which you move. Project management styles can thus run the gamut – from chaotic and haphazard to extremely rule-bound. In order to be able to manage projects well or to actively and successfully participate in them, you need to understand these rules, perceive the environment and written and unwritten rules in the organization, be able to communicate and also not be afraid to use common sense.

What you will learn

In the course you will learn where the project originates, how it proceeds, who manages it and who will participate in it. In practice, you will most often encounter a waterfall or sequential model. We will focus on that in this course. It's simple and makes sense.

An alternative to the classic method is agile management. Of course, she cannot be missing in this course. Although in some cases it is better to stick with the classic waterfall, in practice there are cases where agility is more suitable. We will explain when to apply which style and you will also understand the differences between the two approaches.

You will also get tips and tricks on how to start, order and evaluate the project. Or when projects most often fail and where it most often hurts in practice. All this based on specific cases from practice.

More courses on collaboration and managing people and teams

What you get

You will learn how a project is created, how it proceeds and how it ends.

You will understand the differences between a classic project and agile management.

You will get to know the phases of the project

You will see who is involved in the project and what is required of those roles.

You will understand why it is important and what the project manager is responsible for.

You will find out where it most often rubs off on projects.

We will show and explain all this with concrete examples from practice.

Just a 2-hour lesson from my 12+ years of experience.
